The short version
Little Menace does not collect your data. Your game lives on your iPhone. There is no account, no advertising, no tracking and no analytics.
What the app stores on your device
To keep your game going, the app saves the following in its own storage on your iPhone:
- your gremlin's name, needs, level, points and points history,
- stamps, discoveries, outfits and other progress,
- settings such as sound, haptics and reminder time,
- recent dialogue, so your gremlin doesn't repeat itself.
This data is not sent to us or to anyone else. It may be included in your normal iCloud or computer backup of your device, which Apple and your device settings manage.
What we collect
Nothing. The app makes no network requests of its own and contains no third-party code: no analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs. It does not use the advertising identifier and does not track you across apps or websites.
Purchases
Optional purchases, such as the Midnight Snack collection, are processed by Apple. The app checks your verified purchases on the device to unlock what you own. We never receive your payment details, name or Apple Account information.
Reminders
Reminders are optional and off until you turn them on. They are scheduled on your device by iOS. You can turn them off in the app's Settings or in iOS Settings.
Sharing
A share card leaves the app only when you choose where to send it in the iOS share sheet. What happens next is up to the app or person you share it with.
Crash reports
If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in iOS Settings, Apple may pass us anonymous crash reports. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.
Children
Little Menace is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Deleting your data
Use Start Over in the app's Settings to reset your gremlin and progress. Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device. Purchases stay tied to your Apple Account and can be restored.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
